Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about plans, credits, and billing.
Getting Started
Rizpay Earn is an AI-powered job search platform for Nigerian tech professionals. It matches you to relevant jobs, scores your compatibility, and helps you generate tailored resumes and cover letters with one click.
Browsing jobs and building your profile are always free. AI features - tailored resumes, cover letters, and job scoring - require a paid subscription plan.
When you complete your profile, Earn scores every job against your skills, experience, location preferences, and target roles. Jobs with a high match score bubble up to the top of your feed so you focus your applications where you have the best chance.
Plans and Credits
Basic and Premium plans, each available weekly or monthly. Basic gives you 30 credits per week or 120 per month. Premium gives you 60 credits per week or 240 per month. All fees are charged from your Rizpay wallet.
Credits are how Earn measures your AI usage. Each AI action costs a fixed number of credits: generating a tailored resume costs 1 credit, a cover letter costs 0.5 credits, and scoring a job costs 0.2 credits. Your plan comes with a credit allowance that resets every billing period.
AI generation is paused until your period resets. If you enable overage billing, you can continue generating at 100 NGN per credit, charged directly from your wallet. Overage is opt-in and can be toggled anytime in your subscription settings.
Overage billing lets you keep using AI features after your plan credits are exhausted. Each additional credit costs 100 NGN, debited from your Rizpay wallet at the time of the operation. You can enable or disable it anytime from your subscription page.
Managing Your Subscription
Yes. Cancelling stops future billing but your current plan and remaining credits stay active until the end of your billing period. You will not be charged again after cancelling.
Yes. Once your subscription is in the cancelled state, the plan picker appears on your subscription page and you can subscribe to any plan immediately. Resubscribing charges your wallet for the new plan and starts a fresh billing period.
Yes. Resubscribing creates a brand new billing period starting from the moment you subscribe. Only usage from the new period counts toward your limit - your old usage is no longer counted. You start with a full credit allocation. Note: overage billing also resets to off on every new subscription, so you would need to re-enable it if you want it.
Wallet and Payments
Your Rizpay wallet is the payment source for subscriptions and any overage charges. Fund it by transferring to your assigned virtual bank account. When you subscribe or trigger an overage charge, the amount is deducted from your wallet balance instantly.
The subscription attempt will fail with an insufficient balance error. Top up your wallet by transferring to your virtual account, then try subscribing again.
The AI operation fails with an insufficient balance error. Top up your wallet and retry. Overage charges are collected at the time of each operation, not in advance.
